Waunakee, Wisconsin — To the right are the Mefferts of Waunakee. One of the latest in the line of founding families in Waunakee's recent history. Helps run a family fuel-services business and volunteers on the village fire department.

Who are those below? The foursome below are the Mickelsons, of rural Waunakee. Not natives, but 20-year residents of a more-than-century-old farmstead.

At the right:
Elders to the core (or are they just the oldest?)

To the right are the Sandagers, who came to Waunakee in 1997, sensing a calling to plant a Bible-believing, community-committed church in the area.

• Planted two other churches in Wisconsin.
• Raised four boys into fully functional adulthood
• Retain inexplicable allegiances to the Minnesota Vikings.
• Sometimes known as the Sandiggies.
• Key role in forming the mission and values for Grace.

And, once again, the pastoral couple, as profiled earlier, and chosen to lead and build community, commitment and covenent in this community:

Josh and Laura Lough, with previous residences in Massachussetts, Ohio and California, now call Waunakee, Wisconsin their home.
